Vona Groarke Poet and critic. An award winning poet, Vona has published three collections of poetry with Gallery Press, she is also the recipient of several major literary awards. She recently wrote an introduction for the new Gallery Press edition of Oliver Goldsmith's 'The Deserted Village'.

Madeline Kingston A native of Co. Fermanagh, lives in Scotland. She developed an interest in John Broderick while working on a postgraduate study of Julien Green. She lectured on Broderick at an ISAIL conference in Bath in 2000 and at the Second John Broderick Weekend in 2001. She is currently working on a biography of John Broderick which is due out in 2004.

Brian Leyden Novelist, writer and broadcaster, Brian is a native of Co. Roscommon. He has written a collection of short stories 'Departures' and a novel 'Death and Plenty' both published by Brandon Books. In 1988 he won the Francis McManus Award, his radio documentary 'No meadows in Manhattan' won a Jacobs Award in 1991. His memoir 'The Home place' was published by New Island Books in 2002, and has been reprinted.

Declan Lynch novelist and journalist, Declan is a native of Athlone. He is a columnist with The Sunday Independent. Several collections of his journalistic writings have been published. His first novel 'All of the people all of the time" was published by Town House / Simon & Shuster (2001). He has a second novel due to be published soon.

David Norris Senator, academic and writer. David is an internationally known Joycean scholar. He was formally a senior lecturer in English in Trinity College, Dublin and he has co-authored a book 'Joyce for beginners'. He is one of the best known members of Seanad Eireann and a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee. He is the subject of a biography 'The Cities of David' by Victoria Freedman.

Conor O'Callaghan Poet, reviewer and writer, Conor is a native of Newry, Co Down, and a Patrick Kavanagh Award winner. He has published 'The History of Rain' & 'Seatown' (Gallery Press), and 'Book of Matches' (New Island Books). He has signed a contract with Bloomsbury for a sports prose book.

Faith O'Grady Literary agent, Faith represents The Lisa Richards Agency in Ireland. She is one of a small handful of literary agents living and working in Ireland.

Gus Smith Writer and journalist, Gus is the author of several important books on a range of literary and cultural topics. His biography of John B. Keane, written jointly with the late Des Hickey and published by Mercier Press is the authoritative book on John B.

Seamus Cashman Founder of Wolfhound Press and its publisher for twenty-seven years. Seamus is also a published poet with two collections in print.
